FIG 168 RIB-LOK PIPE SHIELD

APPLICATION

The Figure 168 Rib Lok Pipe Shield is for use with the Fig 65 or Fig 260 clevis. Designed to prevent damage to insulation by hanger. Ribs keep shield centered in hanger.

1/2″ through 24″ pipe with up to 2″ thick insulation

ASME B31.1, Federal Specification A-A-1192A (Type 40), WW-H-171-E (Type 41), ANSI/MSS SP-69 and MSS SP-58 (Type 40).

NOTE

To order, specify size (see “Size Selection” below), figure number and name. Data applicable to shields for thicker insulation or larger pipe sizes is available.For protection shields to be used in conjunction with pipe rolls, see Pipe Protection Saddles.
